Art Galleries/Exhibits

A Munns Halloween Costume Party. 5-8 p.m. Sheehan Gallery, Whitman College campus.

Nonprofit Fundraiser

D.A.R.E. Halloween Spaghetti fundraiser. 4-7 p.m. Walla Walla Elks Lodge, 351 E. Rose St. $5 person, $20 family of six. To-go dinner $5. Costume parades and prizes. Proceeds to the D.A.R.E program. 509-524-4409 or 509-524-5400.

Trick or Treating and All-Ages Parties

Downtown Trick or Treat. 3-5 p.m. Main Street, Palouse Street to Second Avenue.

Trunk or Treat. 3-5 p.m. Grace United Methodist Church, 1520 Pleasant St., west parking lot. Non-scary, broad-daylight event. 525-6702.

Safe Trick or Treating at Quail Run Retirement. 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Quail Run Retirement, 1701 Plaza Way. Safe and secure fun for kids of all ages who are accompanied by parents or other designated guardians. Free. 529-2180.

Trunk or Treat. 4-6 p.m. First Christian Church, 518 S. Main St., Milton-Freewater. A safe way to celebrate Halloween. Games, treats, hot dogs, chili, apple cider.

Annual Harvest Carnival (Halloween). 4 p.m. First Presbyterian Church of Walla Walla, 325 S. First Ave. Games, prizes, candy, face-painting, popcorn, puppet shows, photo bales and more. Free event for the whole family just two blocks from the downtown Halloween trick-or-treat. Free. 525-1093.

Trunk or Treat. 5:30-7 p.m. Walla Walla High School Science Parking lot, 800 Abbott Road. Admission is canned food for donation to the Christian Aid Center Food Bank. Sponsored by Key Club for all elementary school students. Candy, treats and other goodies for all.

YMCA Halloween Spooktacular. 5:30-7:30 p.m. YMCA, 340 S. Park St. Bigger and better than ever. Trunk or treat, haunted house, games and activities for all ages. Food trucks. Free with canned food donation. 525-8863.

For Adults

Costume Party. 7:30-9 p.m. Park Plaza Retirement Community, 1400 Dalles Military Road. Senior citizen Halloween costume party. Live music, prizes for the Best Costume, door prizes, refreshments and of fun. Refreshments. 525-6513.

Halloween Jam. 8-11 p.m. Sapolil Cellars, 15 E. Main St. It’s Halloween. It’s Jam night. That’s right, great music, goulish drinks, and prizes for best costumes. Free, 21 and up. 520-1273

7 p.m. Dia de los Muertos Day of the Dead Festival. 7-10 p.m.. In and around the Gesa Power House Theatre, Sixth Avenue and Rose Street. Live music and dance, face-painting and kids’ crafts, food vendors, art and history, concert featuring mariachis and dance. Free.

Saturday, Oct. 26

All day. Dia de los Muertos Day of the Dead Festival. Various times. In and around the Gesa Power House Theatre, Sixth Avenue and Rose Street. Pageant of the Dead and more, during the day. Free.

4 p.m. Halloween Party. 4 p.m.-midnight. Hamley SteakHouse Slick Fork Saloon, 8 S.E. Court Ave., Pendleton. Costume contest, photos, live music 9 p.m.-midnight by Eleventh Street Incident. 21 and up. Free. 541-278-1100.

7:30 p.m. Dia de los Muertos Day of the Dead finale concert/dance. Gesa Power House Theatre, 111 N. Sixth Ave. Live music and dance for adults only, with Blue Mt. Spanish Sound, tickets $15.

8 p.m. Halloween Party and Dance. 8 p.m.-midnight. Fraternal Order of Eagles, 350 S. Second Ave. Dancing to DJ Jo-So, laser light show, and costume contest with prize. All popular music styles by request. $3. 21 and up.

8 p.m. What Goes Bump in the Night — A Scary Halloween Party. 8 p.m. Wildfire Sports Bar, Wildhorse Resort and Casino, 46510 Wildhorse Blvd., Pendleton. Live music by Groove City at 9 p.m.. Cash prizes for best scary costume, free raffle ticket and more.

Sunday, Oct. 27

3 p.m. Spooktacular concert. Walla Walla Community College, 500 Tausick Way. Walla Walla Valley Concert Band, Main Street Jazz, and Mill Creek Jazz Bands will play. $10 adults, $5 seniors and students. At the door, Earthlight Books and Book & Game Co.

4:30 p.m. Ice Chalet Halloween Skate, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Skate to spooky Halloween music classics with sweet treats for sale by the Walla Walla Figure Skating Club. Admission $2-$5, children under age 5 are free.
