Oscar Armando Barahona Rivera, 46, 427 S. Eighth Ave., was sentenced Sept. 8, on one count each second-degree assault-domestic violence and violation of a protection order-domestic violence. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $57.30 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 each domestic violence penalty assessment and biological fee, 365 days in the county jail with 222 days suspended, credit for 43 days served, 12 months community custody. On Aug. 10, Rivera pleaded guilty to unlawfully entering or remaining in a building with intent to commit a crime against a person or property and violated a no contact order on or about Nov. 11.
