Walla Walla High School classmates are banding together to plan the Class of 2001's 10-year reunion. The organizing committee selected the weekend of July 23 for the event, said Cleo K. Peterson. They are seeking e-mail addresses and current phone numbers for those classmates interested in attending. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org . "We are attempting to go paperless by sending out electronic invitations," Cleo said. Yet if that's not possible, provide a mailing address as well. Also see them on Facebook under group "Walla Walla High School Class of 2001." For more details, call Cleo at 301-8286.
Eighth-graders at Pioneer Middle School are raising funds for their Washington, D.C., trip by selling Big Cheese Pizza certificates for a large gourmet pizza for $10. It's an $8 savings, the Dec. 10 online Walla Walla Public Schools Week in Review noted. The certificates are good until October 2011 and would make great stocking stuffers, organizers said. Checks may be made out to Big Cheese Pizza and put "Eighth-Grade D.C. Trip" on the note line. Contact Pioneer teacher Dan Calzaretta for more details at 527-3050 or email@example.com.
