Liberty Christian girls coast past Bulldogs

DAYTON — Hannah Berges scored 12 points as Liberty Christian opened up a nine-point lead after one quarter and coasted from there to a 60-34 victory over Dayton in a Southeast B District Southern Division girls basketball game here Friday night.

Kayla Dedloff led the Bulldogs with 10 points.

LC led 29-10 at halftime.

"We did come out in the third quarter and play with a little bit of energy," Dayton coach Scott Hudson said. "We got within 14 points and it fell apart again. We couldn’t put the ball in the hole."

The Bulldogs hosted Northern Division-leading Asotin Saturday night.
