Activities and weekly lunch menus at area senior centers
Activities offered daily at The Center at the Park, 720 Sprague Ave., include pool and cards from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

The annual center membership fee, $12 per person, includes a subscription to it. Spanish is spoken at the Center.
Adult day care is provided at the Adult Day Center 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. For more information call Mike Johnson at 527-0771.
Senior Round Table luncheons are served weekdays at noon at The Center. For more information call 527-3775. Bread and milk are served with all meals and a salad bar is available Monday-Friday. The menu this week is:
Tuesday: Spinach souffle, oven-browned potatoes, coleslaw, muffin, pears and cookie.
Wednesday: Chicken fried steak with gravy, peas, mashed potatoes, roll, orange.
Thursday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, green beans, green salad, French bread, fruited Jell-O.
Friday: Roast beef with gravy, mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes, fruit juice or salad, bread.
Lunch is served at Waitsburg Presbyterian Church, 504 Main St., Waitsburg on Tuesdays. Home-delivered meals are available. Questions: call 509-527-3775.
Milton-Freewater and Weston seniors can enjoy hot lunches and socialize at the senior centers in Milton-Freewater and Weston. Activities are offered 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Fridays at the Milton-Freewater Senior Citizens Center, 311 N. Main St. Hot lunches are served at noon on Tuesdays and Fridays. Bingo is 1 p.m. every Tuesday and pinochle is 7 p.m. every Friday. The Weston Senior Citizens Center on Main Street is open for social time and a hot lunch is served at noon on Wednesdays.

The suggested donation is $3.50 for meals for those 60 and older or children under 8; and $6 for those 59 and younger.

Tuesday: Sweet and sour chicken with rice, mixed vegetables, coleslaw with pineappel, hot roll, cookie.
Friday: Potato bar with chili and toppings, tossed salad, pickled beets, bread, brownies.
The Weston menu is:
Wednesday: Meat loaf, scalloped potatoes, Malibu veggies, pea and cheese salad, rolls, cookies, fruit.
Seniors of the Blue Mountains and Walla Walla Valley offer a meal at noon Thursdays in the Milton-Freewater Community Building, 109 N.E. Fifth Ave.
Hot rolls and milk are served with every meal. The suggested donation is $3.50. The menu this week is:
Thursday, June 3: Cube steak-country fried, potatoes and gravy, peas, salad, dessert, hot rolls.
