Asotin boys beat Dayton Friday

DAYTON - The Dayton boys lost a Southeast 2B counter with Asotin, 64-50, Friday night.

The Panthers grabbed a 16-0 lead before the Bulldogs found the net, and Dayton couldn't clamp down.

Josh Trimmell led the Panthers with 23 points and five 3s.

"We knew he liked to shoot the 3, but we didn't think he'd be consistent enough," Ramirez said of the game' leading scorer.

Dayton was led by Garrett Turner's 24 points on the night.

The Bulldogs (7-9 overall, 4-5 in league) host Liberty Christian Friday.
