  • Jose Rafael Martinez Rodriguez, 30, 43 Lado Viejo, Unit D., was sentenced May 5 on one count each attempted residential burglary, possession of burglary tools and attempted third-degree theft. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $200 in court costs, $249.10 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 135 days in the county jail, credit for 115 days served. On May 2 Rodriguez pleaded guilty to entering and remaining unlawfully in a residence with intent to commit a crime against property and to possessing tools used in the crime of burglary and also of attempting to siphon gas out of a tank belonging to another, on Jan. 10.

  • Heidi Muirhead Lopez, 30, LKA 20 W. Walnut St. was sentenced May 16 on one count each second-degree theft of an access device and forgery. The court dismissed seven other counts. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $200 in court costs, $153.60 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, 22 months in the custody of the Department of Corrections, credit for 55 days served. On May 9 Lopez pleaded guilty to obtaining an access device belonging to another person's checking account and falsely made a check on that account in May, 2010. Muirhead Lopez also was sentenced on two counts second-degree theft. The court dismissed three other counts. The sentence included restitution of $651.35, $200 in court costs, $110.50 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, 22 months in the custody of the Department of Corrections concurrent with another sentence, credit for 55 days served. On May 9 Lopez pleaded guilty to gaining unauthorized control of a VISA card and American Express card belonging to another person with intent to permanently deprive the owner of them on March 21. Muirhead Lopez also was sentenced on one count first-degree trafficking in stolen property. The sentence included restitution of $775, $200 in court costs, $367.80 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 36 3/4 months in the custody of the Department of Corrections concurrent with two other sentences, credit for 57 days served. On May 9, Lopez pleaded guilty to knowingly trafficking stolen property on July 10, 2010.
