$n$n Anniversary: Harold and Erma Hamilton


Harold Dean and Erma Lou Hamilton of Milton-Freewater will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary at a reception and potluck hosted by their children.

Open to family anf friends, it will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Pioneer Park Garden Center off Sasayama Drive, Walla Walla. At their request, guests are asked not to bring gifts.

The Hamiltons wed Nov. 24, 1956, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Walla Walla. Their reception followed at the home of the groom's parents, Dempsey and Josie Hamilton.

Harold began his career in 1953 at Continental Can Co. and retired from Crown Cork & Seal Co. 40 years later, in 1993. He enjoys fishing, stained glass art, reading, woodworking and rebuilding cars.

Now retired, Erma worked for Key Technology, the Milton-Freewater School District, Milton Nursery and Dr. Doug Wheeler, D.M.D. She enjoys canning, gardening, ceramics, reading and caring.

They have three

daughters, Susan Hawley of Stanfield, Ore., Kari Key of Milton-Freewater and Tracy Hamilton of Spokane; a son, Mike Hamilton of Milton-Freewater; nine grandchildren and 13 great-
