WESTON -- For their annual Make-A-Difference Day project Sept. 17, area members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will help the city work on some community projects.
Volunteers are asked to meet at Elliott Memorial Park at 8 a.m. There will be a variety of service projects around town. Bring work gloves and any tools you might have such as rakes, trimmers, edgers, garden hoes and weed whackers.
Day care for the volunteers' young children will be provided beginning at 8; with lunch and a snack provided for them.
Lunch will be served for all volunteers from noon-1 p.m. The day is meant to include the entire family.
