Asotin takes home volleyball win from WWVA

COLLEGE PLACE - Walla Walla Valley Academy jumped right into District 9 Southeast 2B volleyball schedule, with Asotin taking home a 25-9, 25-23, 21-25, 25-18 victory Thursday night.

"It was our first match, and we were missing a couple girls," Knights coach Scott Schafer said. "We had to do some different things, and it was a chance to look at our younger girls. We learned some things, so I'm not totally discouraged by what we saw."

Hannah Woolever was 16-for-19 serving with six aces for WWVA, Caroline Larson had three blocks and six kills, and Amy Arnzen had six assists.

The Knights head to Waitsburg-Prescott for a 6 p.m. match Tuesday.
