Resurrection Sunrise Service set at 6:30 a.m. at Pioneer Park
WALLA WALLA - The Walla Walla Ministerial Fellowship will sponsor a Community Resurrection Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. today at Pioneer Park, near the bandstand. Warm beverages will be served. Area churches will provide the music and the Rev. Tom Telfer of Pioneer United Methodist Church will preach.
New Joy Foursquare to hold two worship services today

MILTON-FREEWATER - An end-of-life planning seminar will take place at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 325 S.W. Sixth Ave., in Milton-Freewater.
The five sessions include will take place on different days as follows:
End-of-life health care decisions, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, presented by Gretchen BrauerRieke, RN, MSN;
Local human resources, 3-5 p.m. April 22 presented by Barbara Bates, MSW;
End-of-life financial decisions, 3-4 p.m., April 29, presented by Tim Klipfel, ChFC, FUTC, FIC;
Hospice care, 3-4 p.m., May 6, presented by Linda Miller, RN;
Funeral decisions, 10:30-11:30 a.m., May 12, presented by Corky York of Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home.

Zen master form Choboji Zen Temple to speak at Whitman
WALLA WALLA - Genjo Marinello Osho, Zen master from the Choboji Zen Temple in Seattle (formerly the Seattle Zen Center) will offer a talk and meditation at 10:30 a.m. April 15 at the Reid Campus Center, Room G 20 which is downstairs, at Whitman College, sponsored by the Walla Walla Dharma Sangha.
Genjo Osho was formally installed as the Abbot of the Zen Center in Seattle in 1999, after studies in both America and Japan since 1975. He is also a psychotherapist in private practice and a certified spiritual director, affiliated with the Vancouver School of Theology.
