Obama moving American toward a cliff

What a pity! Some people still intend to vote for Barack Obama.

I’ve heard people say they don’t believe Obama is killing America. They say he’s been an excellent president and deserves to be re-elected. Others reluctantly admit he hasn’t done a good job, but he just needs more time.

It boggles the mind!

With all the evidence before us, how can anyone logically defend Obama’s record? Why would anyone want to give this man more chances?

I have to wonder if people use their common sense. The evidence that America is in dire trouble is right in plain sight!

Obama continues to paint a rosy picture of his accomplishments, and those who will not see continue to drool over the hype and cheer for the things that signal the end of our country. People must not pay attention!

Do they even know what needs their attention? Are they so hopelessly immersed in Obama-ism that they’re willing to let America drown? There isn’t a lot of time left to wise up, but it better happen or we will rue consequences that are dreadful, to say the least!

The first thing people should do is get rid of the stupid race card! Obama’s skin color isn’t the issue! Never has been! If Obama was white, his policies would still be bad for America!

Next, stop letting Obama get away with his whining. He wanted to be president. OK, he is. It’s time he stops blaming George Bush, look in the mirror and admit that he, Barack Hussein Obama, is to blame for America’s out-of-control mess. Anyone who thinks Obama can fix the budget deficit must love counting zeros. We’re in the trillions, and still counting! What comes next?

Another suggestion ... stop buying into Obama’s degradation of the rich. Rich people actually pay the most in taxes. They aren’t the enemy! They create jobs and invest, things this country needs.

Obama’s plan to tax the rich even more to pay for entitlements is an attempt to get votes from those who have been beguiled into thinking Obama is their hero.

Those who think Obama is moving America “forward” are correct. Unfortunately, forward isn’t a good direction when you’re heading for a cliff!

Roberta, Roberta, Roberta - you need to go back and read your history for the past 5-6 years. Obama did keep BUSH's tax cuts that he initiated and that were supposed to expire this year. And if you'll read up on the recession, you'll know that it started in 2007, or 2006, depending upon which econimist you believe. that all started when the housing bubble burst. Read back on how the recession of 1929 started -I'm sure you remember it well. This does not mean Iam going to vote for Obama - it just means that I think with my head, not my emotions as you obvsiously do.

I certainly intend to vote for Barack -- He didn't set up the big dare, the tax cuts that drove up our debt, and the first day of January they'll ALL be in favor of tax cuts -- sensible ones, that do not attempt to derail our priorities in the guise of an "emergency".

I have called you on this before, I will once again. Your thought process is red, through and through, and this severely limits your ability to see things as they really are. I can't fathom your continual love and worship for one of the worst presidents we have ever had, G W! He's the one that lied to us repeatedly to get us involved in a war with Iraq, and got this Country started down the hole we are in now. Such an abyss that it is, no-one could have brought us out of it in the short time frame since G W left office.
You continually whine about how we need to forget about what G W did to us, I understand, as this truly puts things into a reality you and the Red Party would just as soon forget. Interesting note that so many of your political persuasion accuse the current President as a commie, yet your Party is known as the Red Party.
I will say once again, I am of nither political persuasion, I try to pick the best person for the job, and it sure isn't a solid color/party line that will do that.
Your hero, G W, trashed this Country, and the sooner you realize and take ownership of that, along with the fact that you have little in common with reality, the sooner you can begin to see the reality you so conveniently choose to run away from.

My bad - Bush's tax cuts were to expire in 2010 - Obama got the cuts exteded through 2012 as as to not totally trash the economy. Remember, you would be paying bout $2,000.00 extra if the tax cuts had expired as Bush planned. . It is anyone's guess as to what will happen after 12-31-12.

Obummer is the biggest joke of a President in American history, we have had others with major issues, but nothing to compare to what he and his band of thieves have done and want to do to this country, he has no American pride, just listen to his bla bla bla, no substance, no budget, etc !!

Ropehorse- All they hear is Obama is the savior from the media every night. The only reason any one would disagree with him is because of his race. Fox news disagrees with him constantly so everybody at Fox News is racist. Congress is racist, but the senate isn't because it is lead by a democrat that just happens to be an ex KKK Grand Dragon. The news continually claims that the republican lead congress can not pass a budget, but forgets the part about the congress sending budgets to the senate where they are voted down by the democrat lead senate.

Silkie- He had already trashed the economy. Remember the failed stimulis pkg. Probably a big coincidence that the tax cuts expire in 2012, huh.

Just a note of correction pdywgn. The creation and authorization of government expenditures is the sole responsibility of the US House of Representatives. The President and a lot of agency heads submit budget requests but, only the House can make them happen.

GW wanted to go to war so he can make money. It really wasn't about "weapons of mass destruction." America helped supply and train the Afghans back when Russia was trying to gain control of Afghanistan, now it's biting us in the rear. War costs money, but it makes money for those (Cheney) who have companies that sell to the US. Obama is trying to be FAIR, which I admire, that he thinks about the best plan, however, he cannot do his job to execute the plan if Congress doesn't do anything. Congress has to legislate to get anything going. You may think Obama has all this power to do ANYTHING he wants, but he does not, congress has to WORK, put their stupid politics aside and do the RIGHT thing. Not morally right, not the religious right, but the fair and impartial right thing.
