PORTLAND — The 2013 West Coast League All-Star Game has been awarded to the expansion Victoria HarbourCats. The game will be played at Royal Athletic Park on July 23.

“Victoria was an easy choice,” said WCL president Ken Wilson. “Victoria is now the largest market in the league, a city with a rich baseball tradition, and already a great fan base.”

The 2013 All-Star Game will give fans a chance to see the top performers and prospects in the WCL in action. Fans will have a chance during the season to vote to select their team’s most deserving player. The remainder of the All-Stars will be selected by scouts and league coaches.
