PASCO — Tri-Cities Prep handed the DeSales boys a crushing blow Saturday night, downing the Irish 65-31 in Southeast 2B basketball.

The Irish (2-2, 0-2 SE2B) had a poor shooting night, going 14-for-48 from the field and 0-for-5 from free throw line.

“We had a bad shooting night,” DeSales coach Allyn Griffin said. “We missed up close, from the line and from far away.”

Reilly Roach led the Irish with six points.

“Tri-Cities Prep is historically a pretty solid defensive squad and they played really well tonight,” Griffin said.

The Irish take to the court again Monday at home at 7:30 p.m. against Mac-Hi.
