WALLA WALLA -- The Boy Scouts will again collect Christmas trees this coming Saturday and Sunday.
To ensure that you get on their confirmed pickup list, send an e-mail at email@example.com. While the Scouts will systematically work every street in the area, it is very important trees be placed near the curb or street's edge, as the boys are not allowed to come into the house or yard to remove your tree, according to a news release.
While the collection is free, donations are gladly accepted and are pooled between all the boys working.
The boys will check with the individual households as they pick up the tree and will leave a note with an envelope if no one is home.
Donations may also be attached to the tree, or you may note where it can be found in your email to the Scouts.
