Tyler J. Walters, 25, 571 Ash St., was charged Feb. 27 with second-degree assault. Walters is accused of intentionally assaulting a person on Feb. 24.
Tyler J. Rush, 25, Clarkston, was charged Feb. 27 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Rush is accused of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and using drug paraphernalia on Feb. 24.
Michael A. Gioiosa, 20, Washington State Penitentiary, 1313 N. 13th Ave., was sentenced Feb. 27 on one count possession of a controlled substance by a prisoner. The sentence included 200 in court costs, $188.20 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 biological fee, 90 days in the custody of the Department of Corrections concurrent to another sentence he is serving, 12 months community custody. On Feb. 13, Gioiosa pleaded guilty to knowingly possessing marijuana while serving a sentence in the prison, on Nov. 7.
Blaine M. McCubbins, 25, 17 S. Roosevelt St., Apt. E, was sentenced Feb. 27 on one count second-degree assault -- domestic violence. The sentence included restitution of to be determined, $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 each domestic violence penalty assessment and biological fee, 90 days in the county jail, credit for 60 days served, 18 months community custody. On Feb. 16 McCubbins pleaded guilty to intentionally and unlawfully causing substantial bodily harm to an unborn quick child by unlawfully and intentionally inflicting injury on the mother of the unborn child by punching her in the stomach with his fist and kicking her in the side on or about Dec. 20.
