Theft and vandalism reports were filed Wednesday and today unless otherwise noted.

Thefts, Burglaries

WW County Sheriff

  • Pettybone Drive, Dixie. Power tools and an acetylene torch reported stolen from a shop.

CP Police

  • 400 block of Southwest Davis Avenue. Vehicle reported stolen.

MF Police

  • 600 block of Ward Street. Bicycle and other items reported stolen from vehicle.
  • 600 block of South Main Street. Bicycle reported stolen.
  • 1000 block of Lamb Street. Bicycle reported stolen.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • 200 block of West Main Street. Digital camera and cell phone reported stolen.
  • Skyline Drive, Dayton. Cabin reported burglarized: laptop computer, camera and power tools reported stolen.
  • 1200 block of South Fifth Street, Dayton. Vehicle prowl: police arrested a 32-year-old man on investigation of vehicle prowl.


MF Police

  • 000 block of North Columbia Street. Two vehicle collision: no injuries reported.
  • Columbia County Sheriff
  • U.S. Highway 12 near milepost 362, Dayton. One vehicle collision: unknown injuries reported.


WW County Sheriff

  • 200 block of Labor Camp Road. A small pumpkin was reportedly thrown at a residence door, leaving a dent.


WW Police

  • 1800 block of Plaza Way. A 33-year-old man reportedly fired four 12-gauge shotgun rounds inside his home. No injuries were reported, and police confiscated the weapon.
