SUNNYSIDE, Wash. — Touchet defeated Sunnyside Christian 60-20 in a District 5/9 non-league football game Thursday night.
Octavio Preciado rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns while also racking up 85 yards and two more touchdowns through the air.
Touchet led just 18-14 at the half before exploding for a 42-6 second half.
“A hard hitting game for both sides,” Touchet coach Gary Dorman said. “The kids came out and really put things together in the second half.”
The Indians (8-1) will play Odessa-Harrington or Wellpinit in the first round of the state playoffs either Friday or Saturday of next week.
