A homemade Thanksgiving dinner without lifting a spatula.
That’s what Walla Walla’s Harvest Foods is offering customers through its custom-made dinners.
The deli is taking the stress and cleanup out of the holiday with homemade holiday dinners made to order, said deli Manager Debi Weston.
All of the dishes are made from scratch, including homemade gravy from a Weston family recipe. Guests can even bring in their own recipes for dishes they’d like made. Meals typically include a choice of turkey or ham plus a selection of side dishes ranging from stuffing and green bean casserole to mash potatoes and salads.
Orders for the the dishes will be accepted until Tuesday.
New this year at the Southgate grocery store, 905 S. Second Ave., are Thanksgiving meals for one.
Weston said turkey or ham dinners can be ordered in singles. The meals are also ideal to be purchased in advance by those who may know someone who’s homebound or in need of Thanksgiving trimmings. For more details, call 525-7900.
