A Walla Walla chef was the big winner during the second annual Chefs on Parade event in the Tri-Cities.
Antonio Campolio, executive chef at The Marc restaurant, was named winner of the event, put on by the Home Builders Association of Tri-Cities.
In addition to bragging rights, Campolio will be featured on the cover of next year’s Chefs on Parade magazine, according to the announcement. This was his second consecutive win.
Campolio was featured on Friday evening of the two-night event Sept. 14 and 15. The “parade” is a showcase of food and homes with a chef stationed in each home constructed by Dream Builders LLC.
Campolio served ahi tuna, steak, fresh sorbet and an assortment of cupcakes and The Marc’s signature chocolates.
Everyone who visited all 13 of the Chefs on Parade homes got to vote for their favorite chef. Second place went to Holly Claghorn of Prairie Belle Catering. Third place went to Megan Savely and Ryan Ward of Frost Me Sweet.
