Thefts, Burglaries

WW County Sheriff

  • Touchet Gardena Road at Second Street, Touchet, Monday. Theft of gas can reported.

CP Police

  • Southwest Fourth Avenue and Academy Way. Duffle bag and wallet while owners were playing football.
  • 400 block of Southeast Myra Road. Cash and jewelry taken.

MF Police

  • Milton-Freewater Municipal Golf Course, 301 Catherine Ave. Door broken; items missing.
  • Cockburn Distributing, 123 N.E. Third Ave. Pressure washer from outside building.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • Covello Road, Dayton. Theft of diesel fuel from tractor reported.
  • 400 block of West Main Street, Dayton. Commercial burglary attempt reported.


WW County Sheriff

  • 200 block Touchet Gardena Road, 3:02 a.m. Monday. Vehicle struck cow that was among a group of loose cows. No injuries, but vehicle damaged.


WW Police

  • Charlotte D. Bergen, 52, 310 S. 10th Ave., Walla Walla, Tuesday. Charge: investigation of failing to comply with terms of probation.
  • Fernando Castaneda, 22, 275 Woodland Apt. F, Walla Walla, Tuesday. Charge: investigation of failing to comply with terms of probation.

WW County Sheriff

  • Collin Ray Dow, 18, 707 Harrison Road, Burbank, Tuesday. Charges: investigation of Violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act.


WW Police

  • Harold Electric, 811 W. Rose St., reported Tuesday. Vehicle damaged in parking lot of business; broken windshield and broken glove box.
