Steven Garcia, 23, 258 Willard St., was charged Oct. 8 with second-degree assault — domestic violence, second-degree malicious mischief — domestic violence, and interference with reporting of domestic violence. Garcia is accused of assaulting a person, knowingly and maliciously damaging property, and preventing or attempting to prevent the victim of a domestic-violence crime from obtaining assistance on Oct. 6.

Jose F. Saldana, 21, 812 Valencia St., was charged Oct. 8 with hit and run injury. Saldana is accused of operating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run, injury collision on Oct. 5.

Michelle Dunaway, 34, 1226 S.W. Bade Ave., College Place, was charged Oct. 11 with unlawful issuance of bank checks. Dunaway is accused of making, drawing, uttering or delivering three checks between April 4, 2011, and Aug. 4, 2011, knowing at the time she didn’t have sufficient funds in or credit with the banks or depositories to meet the checks in full.

Kelli L. Randow, 21, 733 Wallowa Drive, was charged Oct. 11 with violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Randow is accused of unlawfully possessing psilocybin on May 28.

Robert J. Baker, 22, 1551 Truman St., was charged Oct. 11 with second-degree malicious mischief. Baker is accused of knowingly and maliciously damaging an ATM machine on June 11.

Jahmarious M. Payne, 22, 1903 Melrose St., was charged Oct. 11 with third-degree assault. Payne is accused of hitting a person over the head with a bottle on May 24.

Erin M. Bishop, 36, no permanent address listed, was charged Oct. 12 with possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Bishop is accused of unlawfully possessing a stolen Toyota Highlander on Oct. 10.

Richard A. Caverly, 45, no permanent address listed, was charged Oct. 12 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act and one count of obstructing a law enforcement officer. Caverly is accused of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and heroin; and willfully hindering, delaying or obstructing a law enforcement officer on Oct. 10.

Jackie R. Franks Jr., 41, 1707 Bryant Ave., was charged Oct. 15 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Legend Drug Act. Franks is accused of possessing clonazepam and cyclobenzaprine with intent to sell or deliver on Oct. 13.

Benjamin Beliz Jr., 26, 345 N.W. B St., College Place, was charged Oct. 15 with theft of a motor vehicle. Beliz is accused of committing the theft of a vehicle between Oct. 11 and 12.

Katie A. Sargent, 23, address not verified, was charged Oct. 15 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act and one count each of resisting arrest, obstructing a law enforcement officer, attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle, and third-degree driving while license suspended. Sargent is accused of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine on Oct. 12; using drug paraphernalia on Oct. 12; intentionally preventing or attempting to prevent a peace officer from lawfully arresting her on Oct. 12; willfully hindering, delaying or obstructing a law enforcement officer on Oct. 12: willfully failing or refusing to stop her vehicle after being signaled to do so by a uniformed police officer on Aug. 9; and driving a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license on Aug. 9.

Cesar E. Ruiz, 27, 208 Cruthers St., was charged Oct. 15 with violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act and with fourth-degree assault — domestic violence. Ruiz is accused of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and assaulting a person on Oct. 12.COURT REPORT
