WALLA WALLA — The Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial Veterans Affairs Medical Center will offer veteran-oriented vaccination clinics on Tuesday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., and Sept. 28, 8 a.m.-noon, on the VA campus.
The event, which will feature shots for influenza, pertussis and pneumonia, will be free to veterans and takes place at the ballpark shuttle area, near the lower level parking lots. Participants can receive the vaccinations will seated in his or her vehicle.
There will also be a Spokane-based mobile Vet Center Van from location, with staff able to talk with any veterans looking for some assistance or support or who want a tour of the inside of the special van.
On Oct. 17. 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., VA staff will be on hand to vaccinate at the National Guard Armory, 113 S. Colville St., during the Walla Walla National Guard Stand Down event.

Veterans who may be in the Tri-Cities areas, the same three vaccinations will be offered Oct. 5, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Pasco American Legion, 1029 W. Sylvester St.
