Grace United Methodist pastors to hold Office Hours on Monday

WALLA WALLA — Grace United Methodist Church’s pastors, Linda Weistaner and Sonya Watts, will be at Clarette’s Restaurant, 15 S. Touchet St., at 10 a.m. Monday for their informal Office Hours discussion. The pastors will be at the back table.

Bring your questions, concerns, good jokes or serious issues.

The pastors will hold office hours the second Monday of every month — same time, same table.

First Presbyterian offers Bible studies Mondays, Thursdays

WALLA WALLA — First Presbyterian Church, 325 S. First Ave., will hold two sessions of “The Law of Love — Lessons From the Pages of Deuteronomy,” is a popular Beth Moore Bible Study.

The Bible study groups will meet at 1 p.m. Mondays and at 9 a.m. Thursdays starting this week.

First Congregational-UCC to hold rummage sale this week

WALLA WALLA — First Congregational Church-United Church of Christ, 73 S. Palouse St., will hold its fundraising rummage sale 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday; 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday; 8 a.m. to noon Friday.

All proceeds will benefit local needs. Sale items include furniture, antiques, household, sports, books, CDs, DVDs, jewelry, art, clothes, tools, luggage and much more.

Stateline Adventist plans community pancake breakfast

MILTON-FREEWATER — The Stateline Adventist Church, 53730 Stateline Road, will host a community pancake breakfast fundraiser, 8-10 a.m. April 14 in the church’s Friendship Center.

Proceeds will go to seventh- and eighth-grade activities at the Stateline Adventist School.

Unity Church of Peace to host Reiki healing circle April 14

WALLA WALLA — Unity Church of Peace, 810 C St. will host the Reiki healing circle, at 3 p.m. every second Sunday of the month, beginning April 14.

Reiki, reflexology and several other healing modalities will be available.

If you are a healing practitioner or student, give and get a healing.

The cost is $20 and the community is invited.

LDS Family History Center Library to offer free seminar

WALLA WALLA — The Family History Center Library, 1821 S. Second Ave., will offer a free seminar 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. April 20.

“A Knitting Together of Generations” is a part of efforts by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to make research tools, software and facilities for genealogy work free to the public.

Jan Gorman will teach the course,

“Getting Started with Your Family History.”
