TOUCHET — Touchet High School’s softball team took two from Pomeroy Saturday, blanking the Pirates 18-0 and 15-3, in Southeast 1B action.

Touchet (11-1 overall, 6-0 1B) jumped on Pomeroy early, scoring 12 runs in the bottom of the first inning of game one. Kristen Warner’s two-run homer highlighted the rally.

The Indians piled on six more runs in the second and won in mercy-rule style in five innings.

Game two was much more of the same. Touchet scored ten runs in the first three innings combined and coasted to the five-inning victory.

“We hit a lot of balls hard,” Touchet coach Gary Dorman said. “Just about everybody in the lineup that played had a hit in each game.”

Touchet visits Tri-Cities Prep Tuesday for a single game at 4 p.m.
