ST. JOHN — Pomeroy’s boys golfers finished second at the St. John Golf and Country Club here Tuesday.
Tyson Feider led the Pirates with a second-place round of 86 on the par-70 course.
St. John-Endicott’s John Quinton had low-score 83.
Also counting for Pomeroy, Steven Melvoen took seventh at 114, Karson Krouse was 11th at 124 and Jacob Schuh 12th at 129.
St. John-Endicott won the team score with 378, Pomeroy was next at 453, and Tekoa-Oakesdale-Rosalia third at 488.
On the girls side, St. John-Endicott had a three-score 360 and T-O-R a 371 for the only team scores.
St. John’s Michal Schuster shot a low 90.
Pomeroy’s Teresa Meyers was second at 95.
“It was cold, but the kids did a nice job,” Pomeroy coach Jim Greene said. “We’re looking forward to continue playing 18 holes to get in condition, and get to Walla Walla and the Tri-Cities to play.”
The Pirates take two golfers to Quail Ridge Thursday.
