Owners of 51 East Main aim local with 'staycation' deal

Operators of a downtown Walla Walla vacation rental property are giving local residents a reason to stay home, sweet home.

Owners of 51 East Main are offering a staycation incentive at the property.

The rental package is aimed at local — or local-ish — residents as a way to recharge before summer ends. As an enticement to stay, overnighters will receive a free bottle of 51 East Main wine, a meal at T. Maccarone’s and waived tasting fees at five downtown tasting rooms.

The staycation package is offered Monday through Wednesdays on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guests can stay one or two nights — $315 for one night and $525 for two, plus tax.

The property was converted by owners Ron and Dana Dunning to include retail space on the main floor and five luxurious condos for rent upstairs. The promotion will run through August. For more details contact property manager Alexa Palmer at 520-8975 and ask for the summer staycation rates.
