WALLA WALLA — Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg, a specialist in adolescence, will present “Our Kids Are Not Broken: The Importance of Resilience in Overcoming Adversity,” 9-10:30 a.m. Monday at the Reid Ballroom at Whitman College’s Reid Campus Center, 280 Boyer Ave.
The presentation offers strategies to help children build resilience and character so they can excel in life and bounce back from challenges.
Ginsburg is professor of pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He practices social adolescent medicine with special attention to prevention and the recognition that social context and stressors impact upon both physical and emotional health.
