Pomeroy boys basketball undefeated on season

COLTON — The Pomeroy boys basketball team improved to 7-0 on the season as the Pirates beat Colton 45-37 on Saturday.

Riley Bott finished with a team-high 11 points as Pomeroy spread its offense through multiple players. Bryan McGreevy chipped in 10, Cody LaMunyan and Kade Snyder both added eight apiece.

Pomeroy was held scoreless in the first quarter, but erupted for 25 points in the second and third quarters combined. Colton only scored 18 points in the same stretch.
