SEATTLE (AP) — A Seattle teenager’s glasses may have saved her life in a drive-by shooting.

The Seattle Police Department said Sunday that a 16-year-old girl was lying on a couch inside her southeast Seattle residence when gunfire erupted Saturday night.

Authorities say a bullet struck the bridge of the girl’s glasses and apparently deflected away. The glasses broke, but the girl was not seriously injured.
