Thefts, Burglaries

WW County Sheriff

  • Waitsburg Grocery, 200 Main St., Waitsburg. Report of roughly $226 stolen from store: surveillance video reportedly shows a man enter the locked store and take money and leave in less then 15 seconds.

Umatilla County Sheriff

  • 53000 block of Appleton Road, Milton-Freewater. Attempted vehicle prowl.


WW Police

  • Kingsgate East Apartments, 625 Wellington Street, Friday. A 42-year-old woman attacked her daughter’s boyfriend and was arrested for fourth degree assault.
  • Heritage Park, Saturday. A 16-year-old girl was arrested for fourth-degree assault after allegedly bashing her 15-year-old sister’s head against a car hood during an argument over a boy. The younger sibling was treated and released at a local hospital.


WW Police

  • Adan Gutierrez-Carmona, 36, 146 W. Tietan Avenue, Sunday. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.

CP Police

  • Derrick V. Casey, 38, 315 S. Andrea Street, Milton-Freewater, Monday. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.

MF Police

  • Glenn Key, 618 County Road, Milton-Freewater, Friday. Charge: investigation of possession of methamphetamine.


WW Police

  • 1300 block of Olive Street. Police arrested a 66-year-old man after he reportedly damaged his television set in a fit of anger.

WW County Sheriff

  • 100 block of Detour Road, Touchet. Tires slashed on a 2011 Chevrolet pickup.


WW County Sheriff

  • 900 block of Ninth Avenue. A 15-year-old girl allegedly destroyed a $1,500 electronic ankle bracelet while under house supervision. The teen told police she broke the tracking device because she wanted to return to the Juvenile Justice Center.
