Bell rings up two ad awards

College Place communications firm CMBell Company received two awards in the 10th annual Service Industry Advertising Awards competition.

The company earned a Gold Award for its “Because I Said So!” direct mail piece created for Walla Walla University. The piece, developed with the marketing and enrollment services team, was targeted at parents of high school underclassmen.

A Bronze Award went to the U-Can video produced with the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.

Nearly 2,000 entries were received in this year’s competition. A national panel of judges was engaged in reviewing all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact, according to the announcement.
