Leslee Faye Stuber
April 23, 1950 – February 25, 2013
Lifetime area resident, Leslee Faye Stuber, 62, passed away February 25,2013, at her home.
Leslee was born April 23, 1950, in Pendleton, Oregon, to Delward C. Jones, Sr. and Melva May Hickey Jones. She graduated from McLoughlin High School in Milton-Freewater. On March 8, 1983, she and Bernie Stuber married in Walla Walla. She enjoyed her role as a homemaker and also worked as bookkeeper for her husband’s S & B Masonry business.
Leslee loved fishing, camping with the grandkids, family gatherings, playing cards and games including Bunco, and animals, especially her dogs, April and Taz. She enjoyed watching cooking shows on television and listening to all kinds of music.
Leslee is survived by her husband at home; her son, Jeff Lewis of Waitsburg; two daughters, Tammy Stuber also of Waitsburg and Alison Stuber of Big Timber, Montana; two sisters: Meridel Ferron and Linda Fletcher both of Dayton; two brothers, Del Jones, Jr. of Milton-Freewter and Tommy Jones of Fremont, Ohio; six grandchildren: Geofrey, Blake, Shane, Chevy, Jamie and Autumn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013, at Mountain View-Colonial DeWitt, 1551 Dalles Military Road, Walla Walla, Washington. The memorial service will be 12 noon Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the funeral home. A reception will follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Blue Mountain Humane Society through the funeral home.
