WALLA WALLA — For the second time this season, Whitman forward Ben Eisenhardt has been named the Northwest Conference Student Athlete of the Week.
The 6-foot–10 junior from Bainbridge Island, Wash., averaged 20.5 points per game in two home victories this past weekend over Linfield and Willamette, scoring his second-highest career total of 27 points against the Bearcats.
Eisenhardt earned his first honor on Dec. 29 after he scored a career-high 29 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Missionaries beat Simpson College.
Eisenhardt currently ranks third in the conference in scoring (16.9 ppg), fourth in rebounding (6.8 rebounds per game) and field goal percentage (55.6 percent).
