Two local residents injured in Franklin County crash


MESA, Wash. — Two Walla Walla County residents were injured Friday in a collision at the city limits of Mesa.

According to the Washington State Police, the accident happened at 8:05 a.m. on State Route 17. Police said a southbound car driven by Daisha Hall, 20, of Walla Walla failed to negotiate a curve and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Erin McClain, 21, of Kennewick.

Hall, McClain and a passenger in Hall’s car, Ronnie C. Hulce, 19, of Waitsburg, were all taken to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland for treatment. According to police, Hulce was treated and released. Information on Hall and McClain’s conditions were not available Saturday.

Police said the cause of the accident was under investigation.
