Night owls will have fewer hours to get their shopping done at WalMart.
The College Place store, 1700 S.E. Meadowbrook Blvd., is altering its 24-hour schedule, a corporate spokeswoman said.
Starting July 22, the store will go down to a 20-hour schedule, closing 1-5 a.m. daily, said Kayla Whaling.
She said signs have been posted to inform customers about the changeover.
Whaling did not give a specific reason for the schedule change. She said schedules are determined on a store-by-store basis.
“It’s a business decision,” she said. “We feel like we can provide customers with a shopping experience during the remaining hours we are open.”
