WALLA WALLA — The Walla Walla Bruins picked up a pair of Central Washington Double A Legion baseball victories over the Kennewick Dusters at Murr Field Sunday.

The Bruins jumped to a 6-0 lead with a five-run third inning and cruised to an 11-4 victory in the opener, and Ryan Kimball struck out seven Dusters over five innings as Walla Walla took the 8-1 win in the nightcap.

Zach Zehner started the first game for the Bruins, and was relieved by Logan Cordeiro in the fifth.

Kimball was relieved by Kyle Barker, who closed out the sweep. Barker and Cordeiro both had three hits for the Bruins in the twin bill.
