Theft and vandalism reports were filed Wednesday and today unless otherwise noted.

Walla Walla

Residential Burglary reported in the 700 block of North Sixth Avenue.

An 18-inch long glass marijuana pipe was reported stolen in the 800 block of North 8th Avenue.

A gaming system, air conditioning unit, stereo, gold jewelry and binoculars reported from a residence in the 600 block of Cherry Street.

Police arrested a 22-year-old woman on investigation of DUI after an officer on routine patrol spotted three people in various states of undress standing near a vehicle parked at the corner of Poplar and Colville Streets. When the officer approached the gathering, the three people got into the running car. The officer told the intoxicated 22-year-old suspect she was under arrest for DUI. The woman, who was only wearing a shirt, replied it wasn’t a DUI to engage in amorous activities on the truck of her car.

Officers responded to a report of a drive-by shooting in the 300 block of East Cherry Street at 8:52 p.m., Wednesday. No one was reported injured, and officers are investigating the incident, which may be gang related.

Police arrested Ryan P. Timmons on investigation of felony theft after he was discovered by a 19-year-old woman sleeping in her Jeep Cherokee at Lions Gate Apartments. Police suspect Timmons of breaking into five vehicles and stealing numerous items, including a debit card, hiking gear, an iPod and cash.

Walla Walla County

Police responded to a report that a vehicle passenger pointed a gun at a 23-year-old man in the area of Wilbur and Isaacs avenues. Officers located the suspect vehicle and obtained permission to conduct a search, despite the owner’s concern officers might find several pipes used for smoking methamphetamine. No weapons or drug paraphernalia were found.

Bike reportedly stolen from a porch in the 300 block of Labor Camp Road.

A motorist struck a parked trailer in the 600 block of Abbot Road: no injuries reported.

College Place

Residential burglary in the 300 block of Southwest 12th Street.


A green BMX bike was reportedly stolen from a garage of North Elizabeth Street.


WW Police

Ryan P. Timmons, 26, no permanent adress given, Wednesday. Charge: investigation of second degree theft.

Kalanie L. Boyd, 22, no permanent adress given, this morning. Charge: investigation of physical control of a vehicle while intoxicated.

WW County Sheriff

Keith W. Marlow, 32, 418 E. Seventh Street, Waitsburg, this morning. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.
