A Rochester Quadrajet carburetor and a green tarp reported stolen in the 600 block of Clark Street.
Police cited a 59-year-old woman for a hit-and-run collision after she damaged another vehicle in the Holiday Inn Express parking lot.
Graffiti reported on a garage in the 600 block of West Alder Street.
Walla Walla County
A road sign was discovered thrown into Mill Creek at the Five Mile Road Bridge.
A woman reported that a man claiming to work for Microsoft “tricked” her over the phone into giving him control of her computer over the internet. Police traced the phone number to a Walla Walla location, but the number was apparently disconnected.
A 9mm pistol, $700 and a wedding ring reportedly stolen in the 1700 block of Bryant Avenue. The pistol was reportedly recovered.
A 30 mile-per-hour speed limit sign was changed to read 80 mph. The speedy vandals wrote the new numbers in white paint, however.
Several cars in the 100 block of Labor Camp Road were spray painted with obscenities.
Cell phone reportedly stolen in the 1000 block of Southeast Puff Lane.
A Bellvue woman reported someone “keyed” a van she borrowed to visit her mother in Waitsburg.
Mehlenbacher Farms reported between 500 and 900 gallons of diesel fuel stolen.
Groceries reportedly stolen from Safeway.
