Hydrocodone pills reportedly stolen from a residence on Chase Avenue while the prescription holder was in jail.
Police received a report that a 41-year-old man had taken a 5-year-old boy to the grocery store without the mother’s permission. The 41-year-old was arrested on an unrelated misdemeanor warrant.
Rear-end collision reported; The 74-year-old motorist allegedly responsible said his foot got stuck behind his brake pedal.
Walla Walla County
Cement mixer reportedly stolen in the 500 block of East Cessna Avenue.
Two motorists spotted a man who fell into an electric fence on Chamberlin Road, and rescued him. He appeared injured and intoxicated, so they escorted him home, whereupon, he locked them out of his house. Neither the duo of good Samaritans, nor paramedics, were able to roust a response from the 60-year-old man. A Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched, and entered the home to check on the elderly man. The man, who at first appeared to be unconscious, told the deputy to get the (expletive) out, and refused medical attention.
Two vehicle collision reported on Jantz Road near Maple Street: no injuries reported.
Two storage unites at Waitsburg Mini Storage reportedly burglarized.
Deputies arrested a 29-year-old man on a Franklin County warrant after discovering him illegally parked after hours at Quarry Pond with 19-year-old woman.
