Kelly Barnett, 73, of Pilot Rock passed away on March 3, 2013, at St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton. At her request there will be no service.
Kelly was born on July 4, 1939, in Walla Walla to Roy and Helen Barker. She attended school in Walla Walla, graduating from Walla Walla High School. She moved to California, where she met and married Douglas Henry. They later divorced and she returned home to Walla Walla, where she met and married Bill Barnett. The couple were later divorced. She continued to live in the Walla Walla area.
She was a homemaker, raising three daughters and a son. She very much enjoyed bowling, being a California state champion was special to her. Her hobbies included ceramics, crocheting and cooking for everyone.
She loved to have her family close. In her last years, she lived in Pilot Rock, where she loved playing cards and other activities at the senior center and visiting with her neighbors. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Dawn Jennings (David) of Adams, Ore., Stacy Pierce of Edmunds, Wash., Wendi Andrews (Brian) of Shoreline, Wash., and Kirk Barnett (Stephanie) of Pendleton; sisters, Mary Barna of Pahrump Nev., Mikki Jackson of Paulina, Ore.; brothers, Clyde Barker of Walla Walla, Roy Barker of Chatworth, Calif., Gary Barker of Walla Walla; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her parents preceded her in death.
