First Presbyterian sets Maundy Thursday dinner, service
WALLA WALLA — First Presbyterian Church of Walla Walla, 325 S. First Ave. will hold a Maundy Thursday supper and worship service 6:15-8 p.m. Thursday.
There will be a soup dinner followed by the Service of Gathering Darkness.
A donation of $3 for dinner is suggested.
Good Friday services will be noon-1:30 p.m. Friday in 30-minute intervals. Participants may come and go as needed or remain for the whole time.
Easter services will be at 7:45 a.m. for reflective worship; 9:01 a.m. for the contemporary service; and 10:31 a.m. for the traditional service.
Ther will also be an Easter brunch. Cost is $5 children, $8.50 adults or $25 a family.

Journey to the Cross planned at Village Church campus
COLLEGE PLACE — The Village Players are presenting “Journey to the Cross” on the Village Church campus, which is located on the corner of 12th Street and Larch Avenue.
Tours will be every 20 minutes. beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and on Easter.
The final tour of each day will begin about 6 p.m.
The walking tour lasts about an hour and is wheelchair accessible.
Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
The re-enactment involves 100 volunteers who re-create nine scenes from the last week of Jesus’ earthly life. The re-creation begins with Jesus’ triumphal entry to Jerusalem on a donkey and culminating with his resurrection from the tomb.
The script is taken from the four Gospels in the New Testament.

Unity Church of Peace to hold a vigil on Good Fridayl
WALLA WALLA — Unity Church of Peace, 810 C. St., will hold a Good Friday vigil 12:30-12:50 p.m. Friday with a centering prayer meditation.
The service, by the Rev. Joy Kachel, at 1 p.m., includes “The Seven Words of Christ from the Cross” and Adornment of the Wreath. At 2 p.m. there will be a contemplative labyrinth walk.

Walla Walla Community Sunrise service to be at 6:30 a.m. Easter
WALLA WALLA — The Community Sunrise Service will take place at 6:30 a.m. Easter at Pioneer Park, near the bandstand.
The one-hour worship service will offer music, drama and an inspirational message.
New Beginnings Chapel to serve breakfast on Easter
WALLA WALLA — New Beginnings Chapel, 822 W. Main St., will serve breakfast on Easter 8-10 a.m. The “Come Alive This Easter Worship Celebration” follows at 10:30 a.m.

Dayton United Brethren Church to present cantata on Easter
