Growing business on the web will be the focus of a trio of workshops early next week.
“The ABCs of Interactive Marketing” will be presented in a series of 1 1/2-hour presentations by radio-and-TV-specialist-turned-marketing-and-sales-professional Mike Blinder on Monday and Tuesday. The programs are free to those who register, but will cost $20 at the door for those who don’t. Registration must take place by Friday.
Presented by the Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Union-Bulletin, the workshops will explain how to leverage social networking to find and retain customers, offer tips on making sure your business is found by those searching for services and make a case for embracing the “mobile movement.”
In addition to his marketing career, Blinder is the author of “Survival Selling.” His workshops will be 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at Columbia REA, 2929 Melrose St., with lunch provided; 4:30-6 p.m. Monday at the same location with appetizers provided; and 8:30-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Walla Walla Regional Airport terminal with breakfast provided. To register, call 526-8314 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. More information is also available at localmediaworkshops.com.
