Vincent A. Torrier, 77, of Walla Walla died in a two-vehicle crash Friday at 8:50 a.m. on Highway 11 near Weston when he made a U-turn in his 2013 Toyota Corolla and was stuck by a 2004 Ford F350 picked driven by Debora Alder, 55, of Hermiston. Torrier was airlifted to Providence St. Mary Medical Center,where he was pronounced dead. The highway was closed for more than four hours due to the rescue and ensuing investigation.
