Council member announces he won't seek re-election


WALLA WALLA — Council member Shane Laib issued a statement today indicating he won't seek re-election to his Walla Walla City Council position (No. 2) this year. His email included the following statement:

"I have mostly enjoyed the time that I have served on the council and am proud of the accomplishments that have been made. I have enjoyed serving the citizens of the Walla Walla community."
