The Wild Walla Walla Wine Woman is welcoming autumn with a cider tasting event.
Catie McIntyre Walker, owner of the retail wine shop at 19 N. Second Ave., will host Tieton Cider Works during a two-hour tasting Wednesday.
The Tieton, Wash., company is reinterpreting traditional cider-making, by using various styles from apples, cherries, apricots and even hops, according to the announcement. The fruit comes from Craig and Sharon Campbell’s Harmony Orchards.
At least four different ciders will be available for tasting Wednesday during the 5 p.m. event. The cost is $5 per person, and attendees will get a 10 percent discount on Tieton ciders.
