David Carey Del Moro of Waitsburg and Sarah Kathryn Wright of Hermiston wed Sept. 14, 2013, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Walla Walla. The Rev. Stephen Clovis officiated.
The son of Oscar and Julie Del Moro of Woodinville, Wash., David graduated in 2007 from Bellevue (Wash.) Christian High School and in 2013 from Oregon State University, Corvallis, with a degree in agriculture business. He works for Perry Doshier of Waitsburg and assists with the David Carey family farm in Walla Walla.
Sarah is the daughter of Rod Wright and Sanda Rector of Central Oregon. She graduated in 2007 from the Running Start program at Mineral Area College, Farmington, Mo., and earned a degree in agriculture in 2012 from OSU. She’s in her second year of graduate school at OSU in agriculture and works for the OSU Umatilla County Extension in Hermiston.
Dominique Sabedra was the bride’s honor attendant, and Erin Jenstedt was bridesmaid. Matthew Carey Del Moro was the groom’s honor attendant and Samual Moxley was groomsman.
Readers of the Liturgy included Amanda and Ashley Danforth, the groom’s cousins, and Sister Marilyn Nunemaker, the bride’s aunt. Vocalist was Chelsea Dasso and pianist was Helen Didelius.
Wheat from the family farm adorned the church and reception at the Walla Walla Country Club.
Guests included cousins of the groom’s father from central Italy.
The newlyweds honeymooned at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They live in Walla Walla.
