Police cited a 57-year-old man for urinating in a fire escape well in the 00 block of East Birch Street.
Two masked men reportedly forced their way into an apartment and assaulted a 19-year-old woman and her boyfriend in the couple’s home on South Roosevelt Street. No serious injuries were reported, and police suspect the assault was related to an ongoing family dispute.
Walla Walla County
A vehicle driven by an 18-year-old woman reportedly struck a power pole support wire near Gose Street and Heritage Road while the woman was trying to put on her name tag on her way to work.
Copper wire stolen in the 300 block of Magee Road: vehicles and Connex boxes prowled.
Two dogs and a goat reportedly at large: the owners were contacted.
The leg of a frog statue was reportedly broken at the Milton-Freewater Public Library.
An iPad reportedly stolen in the 00 block of Southwest Sixth Avenue.
Dog bite reported near Zerba Cellars: no medical treatment requested.
A Coffman Lane woman reported a dog attacking a deer.
A public works employee reported finding two dead dogs that had been skinned on Eastside Road near Milton-Freewater. Deputies were unable to locate the animals.
