LA GRANDE — The McLoughlin High School volleyball team could only muster 22 points in three sets, as La Grande won, 25-6, 25-12, 25-4, on Tuesday.
Mac-Hi head coach Kaila Rodighiero said the Pioneers struggled with their passing, which effected the offense around the net.
“La Grande took advantage of that and had a great offensive night,” Rodighiero said of Mac-Hi’s mistakes. “They are a great team and we know what we go up against each match with them. But my girls stayed pretty positive and had good attitudes throughout.”
Middle blocker Jessica Dodd finished with four blocks and a kill for Mac-Hi. Mackenzie Fite had two kills and Brooke Kralman came up with two digs.
Mac-Hi goes to Baker on Thursday.
