COLTON — Touchet suffered a 25-6, 25-17, 25-11 Southeast 1B League volleyball defeat at the hands of Colton here Thursday night.
The loss dropped the Indians to 1-5 in league play and 2-7 overall. Touchet returns to action next Thursday at St. John-Endicott
CierraJo McKeown had team-high totals of 14 digs and five kills for the Indians. Harlie Schaeffer led with five assists, Abby Grudzinksi with three stuff blocks and Jennifer Aceves was 8-for-8 serving with two aces.
Jenna Moser led Colton with 14 kills and eight digs. Zoe Moser had 12 kills, eight digs and four serving aces for the Wildcats, Winnie Shultheis put up 21 assists and Jackie Warner chipped in with two blocks.
“The last two games the girls have played hard,” Touchet coach April Miller said. “The younger kids are getting some valuable experience, and Colton is a good team.”
